I used to have a super long ‘About’ page, but it was filled with things that clients probably had no interest in reading through. The copy was very rough. I knew that I had invested a lot of time working on it though and I wanted to see if I could use it elsewhere.
After giving it some thought, I realized I could recycle my website copy into content for my Instagram. I ultimately reworked the sections that I took off my website and converted them into engaging Instagram captions that helped me gain more followers
I saved myself time by doing this also, which is super important because I’m in a season of growth in my business right now and time is precious!
Remove all website copy that doesn’t serve you and your business anymore.
The first step to recycling your copy is to create a Google Document and paste the old copy. This is going to give you space to rewrite the copy for Instagram (or another piece of content like a blog post) and make room on your website page to create epic new copy!
